Sorry to bother you again, what would you choose for software engineering?

Refer to the UNSW Handbook. It will tell you what to enrol in. No point asking us every single time you enrol. Be proactive and learn how to find out which courses to enrol in.

Here's the Elec Eng Handbook: http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/plans/2015/ELECAH3707.html and here's the Eng/Com Handbook: http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2015/3764.html

Notice in Program Structure for the combined Handbook, they give you a sample structure. Follow that. It says:
Choose ONE of:
MATH1131 Mathematics 1A (6 UOC)
MATH1141 Higher Mathematics 1A (6 UOC)

Choose ONE of:
MATH1231 Mathematics 1B (6 UOC)
MATH1241 Higher Mathematics 1B (6 UOC)

[...]
So, you choose one of those. Click on those course links and see whether there are any requirements/prerequisites. For example, MATH1231 requires you to have done MATH1131 or MATH1141, so you cannot do that course.

Repeat.

Physics is not required for Software Engineering.

What I've seen people do is

COMP1917
MATH1131/41
ENGG1000
MATH1081
or use the free elective and do MATH1081/ENGG1000 during 2nd sem, which I personally don't recommend for Software Engineers.
