no, not necessarily. i mean, i see where you're coming from, but with very common critical theories they aren't seen as being 'owned' by any one theorist like controversial theories are. in that sense, everything you ever write will have most likelt been written by someone else at one point or another - the marker knows what the common analysis is and why you haven't named one particular theorist.
