Behavioural Theory

Workers perform better if motivated
Workers have a part in the decision making process
Flatter management stricture
Broader span of control
Democratic style of management

this one tends to involve the workers more. The other one was mainly about production.

Political Theory

Managers use power and influence to achieve the goals of the business
Informal coalitions and networks of stakeholders

Responsibility of managers:

Managers are responsible to their stakeholders. Its their responsibility to provide employees with good working conditions, to abide by laws, to make a profit for shareholders, to keep the environment clean etc.... So think about what management should be doing for society.
