We have an assessment coming up:

"IN THE WILD: The texts imagine the triumph of science and technology over the natural world, the harnessing of the human will to the service of a 'demanding new order', that paradoxically wishes to create a civilisation of ease and leisure.

How do Blade Runner and Brave New World explore these concerns?

In your answer compare they ways major characters from both texts respond to the new order of their respective worlds."

Yeh...so I'm not really sure how to approach it. Any Ideas?????

It seems like a pretty standard and straightforward question - considering it asks for a comparison of how the major characters respond to the 'new order', you'll probably want to begin by brainstorming everything you can about them.

...and it's already categorised pretty simply for you, so create a thesis based off that, and prove each of the statements in the question.

cool thanks guys...i know its a pretty straightforward question and i thought i had a pretty good idea about how to answer it, but then our teacher started going off on a tangent about stuff and i wasnt so sure! But yeh you guys are thinking pretty much along the same lines as me...i'll stick with it!!!
