A reasonable understanding of Ext. 2 Maths or first year maths would be all that is expected conceptually at its worst. Otherwise, much of the maths will be taught in class.
A common skill required for economists is the ability to construct models.for my sake, I hope you are right!
And I also heard that "real world" economics did not entail that much mathematics? In the RBA for example?
