okay bosers heres the sitch...

yesterday i got a new computer...and plugged everythin in and proceeded to install software...anyway i had plugged my ipod in and its "configured" it and deleted all my music and data...

after being pissed off for half an hour i started reburning and gettin back my music...i when i tried to start the computer it wouldnt go....my dad fixed it by unpluggin the ipod...anyway..

n e way today i thought i start to put some of my music back on their...i plugged it in and itunes froze...i went to the ipod updater adn everytime u go to use the ipod it would say 'unsafe removal of device' nshit....so i tried to go into it thru my computer..

it said 'unable to open, would u like to formt now' or some shit....n e way..i pressed yes and realised after that it would hve delete the ipod system files.....it did...

anyway i now have a 15gb hard disk that was once a ipod....how do i fix it???

Grab the latest iPod updater. Connect the iPod to your computer, execute the Updater, and follow the prompts. That should restore it to factory settings. I'm not 100% positive it'll help you with your reformatted iPod, but it's the best I can come up with.

I hope you get it fixed soon. :(

Hold menu+top key for 10 seconds and see if anything happens;

If the firmware has been completely wiped, turn off your computer for a few minutes;

Power up, when windows loads, plug in the Ipod;

Run the latest updator software for your model;

Give us an update! :)
