Unfortunately, nobody here will go out jeep hunting. I'd suggest

www.carsales.com.au
www.carpoint.ninemsn.com.au
www.autotrader.com.au
www.drive.com.au
http://carsguide.news.com.au

I would love to deter you from getting a jeep. Unless you are an avid offroader, a jeep is pointless in the city. An automatic jeep is even more pointless - you can't even really use it offroad either.
I assume this is a 4WD, if so - transfer boxes suck when they break down -> $$$. Tyres are quite expensive. Fuel consumption is lousy (for any given engine size). Acceleration is also not that flash. Top speed may very well be limited by the tyres to something like 160km/h - (Is it at all possible to use V-rated tyres on something like this?). It would be understandable if you needed it for offroading, or tradesman work, even. But if you're just using it as a statement - as a means to stand out - I'd reconsider it.

I was going to deter you from getting a Jeep.. like the brand of the car.. but now I see it's a Suzuki.. WHY????

You only need it to get from A to B right? I'm under the impression that the Suzuki will actually break apart to pieces (or at least make you feel it will).. after hearing seremify's experience of owning a Suzuki (Terios).. and that's on actual roads.. =S

ok ppl, i have read what you's say, but its true that i am trying to find a jeep, this is what my parents want for me, well because my mum drives one too and she told me to get something like she drives (projero) but i wanted something smaller, but i know its hard to drive etc.

but my 2nd preference is a sports car, 4 door one, just the name of the car or model, im not good at naming car models lol but if people have cars of their own, i'd wanted advice which car models i should get, (except small cars)

If you're set on a 'jeep' (which for reasons already discussed I think is a hideously bad idea) then start getting 4WD monthly and looking in the classifieds.

For your second preference you're going to need to clarify.... you want a large four door sports car?

If so I suggest looking at:
Falcon/Commodore sports models as these are cheap and often auto (warning: they guzzle fuel, your licence may not permit you to drive them and insurance can be steep).
Four-door skyline whilst not technically a skyline the engines are the same styling etc the same they just have two extra doors.
BMW 3 series these can look good - will probably have to go older to get one though.
Sports pack V6 magna I dont know the exact model but there is one of these that looks very sporty and sexy.

Thats all that leaps to mind off the top of my head, given the requirements you (your parents) have laid down, I suggest they need to get a clue. Banging you into a large car is not going to make you safe in an accident (ESPECIALLY in large 4WDs). And a 0-15K budget is not the most helpful a more exact number would give us more of an idea what you want to spend.

its not that hard to find a sports car under the budget of 15000 or 10 000 but anyways i want to find a small sports car, how about a toyota sera? is that good or bad??

Is that the one with the scissor doors? Haven't heard good things about it. Stay away from Paseo, too. They seem to be far less reliable than your regular Corolla.
Now it seems to me like you don't really know what you want. How about you answer some of the following questions, to make it easier for others to help you?

Preferences
No. of Doors: 2 door / 3 door / 4 door / 5 door:
Drive type: RWD / FWD / AWD:
Transmission: Manual / Auto:
Country: Japanese / Aussie / Euro:
Safety: Airbags Required?

those supras are such a nice body shape!

on topic: steer clear from a jeep, all it is going to do is cost you money, not to mention how unsafe they are.

My brother drives a 2004 model Jeep Cherokee with an automatic transmission, and regularly takes it off road.

Its a nice car to look at, leather interior and drives really nicely for a 4wd, but it goes through petrol like nothing else (esp cos of the auto transmission), and really isn't suitable if you're driving it to and from a workplace everyday because its just so not economical.

But if you're intent on buying one, he found his on carsales.com.au but I think it was like $30 000. I've noticed your budget is only $15 000, and I really don't know what you're gonna find thats in decent condition for that much.

From 1000-15000 is not an accurate price range you need to narrow it down to at most a 5000 gap (as opposed to 14000) and preferably less - otherwise for convenience sake and getting the best car out we'll just assume that your budget is around $15K and not bother with anything less.

Some thoughts on the bolded list:

Nothing australian will suit so already we've narrowed it down to jap cars.

And I have uni work to do so I wont be wracking my brain further right now, but my initial thinking is that there arnt many two door AWD four cyclinders around - by all means someone correct me...

No arguments there. (Well, except for one, more on that later.)

He's going to have to make some compromises then. If its AWD, it's not going to be a 2-door. First car that comes to mind (Jap+4cyl+AWD+auto), both in 4 and 5 door guise is the Subaru Liberty GX/LX - both of which are available in AWD, and are nice looking cars. This one costs around $9-$10k, but has around 190k.

If you forget about AWD, you can consider cars like 7th Sign's Mazda MX6, which seems to fit your categories ok (except it's a 6 cylinder). Below is a '96 with 167k costing around $13k. Clicky

Remember that AWD is an expensive option, and most cars that come with AWD aren't too cheap. But there is one more car that comes to mind, though, that is 2 door, AWD, Aussie-Euro, 4 cylinder. It is the Holden Calibra - Clicky.

Beautiful Car. Only problem for you is that it is a 6 speed manual, and turboed. They are also not so great mechanically - as the transfer boxes break down all the time. In fact, I would bet that the reason that the example I gave above is so cheap is because the transfer box has finished, and requires replacement ($8k-$10k). It is an Opel Calibra in Europe, and a Vauxhall Calibra in the UK - we can thank GM for that. It also won an award for the most beautiful car of its time, when released.

Ah but the calibra (like the astra its based on) is actually european;). I would steer clear of the calibra, personally I think they are actually pretty ugly, aside from which they (as petar points out) have mechanical problems and low and behold parts are expensive and not necasserily readily available.

A supra with quiet low kms (67000km) despite being 15 years old: http://www.autotrader.com.au/Slides...855028&PhotoIndex=0&State=NAT&ProductID=B112#

If you're going to check out liberties then you must look at Imprezzas

There is the obvious skyline which looms large when considering japanese, two door sports however is a six cyclinder and up in the 2.5L range.

R32 GTS-4:http://www.autotrader.com.au/Slides...06132&PhotoIndex=0&State=NAT&ProductID=11853#

The one I'm disappointed I didn't think of earlier is the silvia which you should be able to get within budget and comes in two door, four cyclinder 2L is japanese and quiet quick. This one is abit overpriced at $12.5K considering the age but have a look anyway.

If we are prepared to ditch the AWD requirement then we can start considering Hondas eg the prelude and integra both of which are definantly worth a look. And the integra's oft overlooked competitor the mitsubishi FTO is also worth checking out.

You can get a four door Skyline........ and in 2.0L versions........ but they're quite old I think, most probably unreliable.......

The R31 skylines (eg the ones you are talking about) dont fit because they will invariably have too many kms and are for various other reasons shit.

You can get R34 skylines in four door configuration - IF you look hard enough, however he's after a two door anyway....

No.. he's after a four door.. that's the only reason I said Skylines came in 4 door.. if not, I wouldnt even suggest it because it's ugly =S
