Help! need MS ACCESS pro's (1 Viewer)

ok, so what i want to do is ... on the form have a listbox containing a list of just one of the items in the current table ... eg. 'company name'. Then from that when one of the company names listed is clicked, i want txt boxes on the other side to display all other info in the same row as the 'company name' (so basically all the other details). I've done this in VB, but im not quite sure how to get it working in access.

:) any idea's help much appreciated <3<3

haha oh, and if any of you know how i can create some sort of save function for all the updates/new items that would be awesome ... cause im guna get owned trying to do that too :p

haha jah <3 im a massive noob too :eek: ... but it was either do this gay 'management system' thing, or attempt to do some insane maths calculation program :(

In access its all pretty much automated, dont need to code any of what you described above. If you add a button it should give you the option to turn that button into a save button. If you add a listbox itll ask if you want to link it to the data and then asks which data you want to be displayed.

bhahaha oh my, thanks dude .... no wonder my tutor gave me the 'YOU ARE A RETARD' look when i told him i did this in VB :eek: like 40 lines of code to do that and i click a damn button in access and its done :eek::eek: remind me to never do another programing subject, ever. <3
