I read that Shallow water has lower dissolved oxygen than deep ocean water
Is that wrong?
I reckon it should be that Shallow water has more dissolved oxygen then deep ocean water due to wave action etc... but since shallow water is generally warmer it means solubility of oxygen is lower than deep ocean water? amirite?

Yeah my textbook says [oxygen] decreases with depth due to organisms using up the oxygen, and there not being any producer to replenish it, along with the wave action and such increasing oxygen at the surface. The solubility bit is true, but there is still the trend of decreasing concentrations at larger depths
