HELP! Paramedic, ambulance officer! (1 Viewer)

I want to be a paramedic & i've got the cource all set. I'de love to do the Charles sturt uni one but I don't want to go all the way to BATHURST..
So i'll be going for the Sydney one.
BUT. I'm still on my l's. By the end of the cource i would have my full licsence but it says on the site i need my lisence as soon as i apply.. If this is true that means i'm going to be hanging around for 3 years. If that's the case i'll just do a nursing cource & speed up the process. I don't really want to do this though.
Anyone know anything about paramedics?? Advice, info, anything? All very welcome!!!

Hey mate im in the same boat as you.
I dont want to go all the way to Bathurst (from syd) just to do the course but will if i get in. Do you know if its hard to get in?
Also if u want something to speed up the waiting, i may do this if i have to go to the sydney one. Do the Occupation First Aid course through St Johns. That allows you to be a First Aid officer (getting paid) in construction sites and buildings etc...
