Help please! -Journeys assessment! (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,
just wondering if anyone has done the assessment for journeys yet? Mine is a speech with the focus "the journey", and we have 'enlighten the audience' on "the concepts and effects of a journey and how they are portrayed".
have to use:
-prescribed text =rabbit proof fence
-atleast 2 from stim book journeys
-2 related materials - i have a novel 'deucalion' and wanted to use a piece of music, but not sure which one

does anyone have any ideas???

wat type of journey are you doin, like inner, physical or spiritual?

When we did this last year and had to do a poster,analyse it, then analyse another 3 chosen texts.

In yours maybe mention the types of language techniques that the writters use to make the journey appeal to its audience. Use a really sentimental song, like...umm...i used tears in heaven by Eric Clapton or if you listen to any country music, thats really good too, bcoz most of it is sad songs, and has some sort of journey involved.

I dont know if that helps at all...but goodluck anyhow!!

Im doing physical journeys, and i was looking at Dixie chicks 'wide open spaces', but i need an analysis of the lyrics- i have no idea what its about (i dont listen to country, my classmate gave me the song idea)
