Okay, so I chose B. Commerce / B. Science. This is the page for that in the UNSW handbook.

Someone please explain the whole course selection thing to me? I don't really know how any of this works and I have no clue what to pick for my courses. I don't even know how the majors and minors work >.> Does it matter what order I do my courses in?

Right now, do I only need to pick the 4 courses that I want to do in semester 1? And is there something that gives you a list of the recommended courses to take for each semester?

I'd like to do Computer Science and Engineering and either Accounting or Management. I have no idea what courses to do though.

Pick 4 courses per semester, don't worry about majors and minors right now. The order matters because some courses have prerequisites.
U should probably pick ACCT1501, ECON1101, MGMT1001 and maybe COMP1917 if you want to do a comp sci major.

If you want to get all technical, at the bottom of the handbook you'll have links to specialisations. Find your major, and it'll tell you what subjects you take in Year 1, Year 2 and so on for that major. Pick and choose 4 courses from the majors you want, and then enrol.

Thanks guys :s
I put in the 4 courses that garrry suggested and enrolled. Hopefully this works itself out... Auto-timetable is giving me a horrible looking timetable. Gonna try playing around with that for a while.

For Semester 2, you'll be comfortable with enrolling and it'll be easier for you to figure out what to do. In the mean time, if you want to, try and pre-plan.
