didnt u learn that in the prelim course and there should be an example in your textbook? generally there is no particularly format for it, but it goes something like this.

executive summary: ( this is your synopsis, intro whatever you want to call it)
body (just put headings of each topic you want to write about and then write underit)
use BUSINESS terms (very important), dot points, diagrams etc .. you dont really need an conclusion. and dont put colourful headings to make it stand out because you just waste time!

thats all very simple ^^;

Hahaha... in Business prelim finals, wrote out business report, finished early, was bored, so made the headings "bold" by colouring them in. :D
Just a tip in case you finish early in the HSC exam, or something.

I wasn't implying that you didnt, I was expanding off the topic of "things to do when finished early".
Haha, obviously I've come across the wrong way... only meant that I had time on my hands after going thru' exam paper... :)

Let me add to that list:
  • twiddle your thumbs
  • stare out the window
  • make faces at friends
  • watch the second hand tick around... and around... and around...
  • colour-in the front of the exam paper (personal favourite)

;)

*Reviving dead thread*

from ^ are we really not allowed to mark any of the pages you don't write on?? I always do... whether it's scribbling memos or just doodling. What happens if we get caught?
This seems a bit silly to me.

You get to keep the question paper, so it shouldn't matter if you've written on it. I might be wrong though
