HELP - Problem!!! (1 Viewer)

I bought a laptop "Pentium M 1.GHz" about a month ago... and its been smooth ever since.
However today, i was watching Little Britain (the laptop was unplugged from the power charger), then a mate rang.. so i turned it off.
Then i drove around to his house to get some games off of him, but when i turned it on.. the "Pentium M" logo showed up.. then ............ nothing!!

Ive "Ctrl+Alt+Del" a few times to no avail and turned it off with the power button heaps, but stil nothing happens...

WHAT CAN IT BE??

PS - i ran a virus check with AVG yesterday and nothing was found and i didnt go on any sites that really could have compromised the security of it last night??

turn ur comp off
unplug AC Power
take out battery
hold down power key for 15secs

put just AC power in
try to turn on.


but as Murf said... I do'nt get it either...

no.. i ran an AVG virus check the day BEFORE the laptop messed up on me...

And yes Redslert... it appears so
that damn blinking white underscore is mocking me........

damaged hardware - hdd ?

what happens when you go into the BIOS can you see the HDD there in the list of devices?

have you tried using a recovery disk to repair windows?

Nope, cant even go into BIOS... just a stupid black screen with the white underscore...
ive typed in shit like "run" and "Dir" but nothing ever happens, nor pressing "F8".

Ahhh recovery disc? Did that come with it when i bought it?
Because i left all that stuff back @ uni in adelaide, i never counted on this happening!

BIOS should be before that...

turn ur laptop off
and keep pressing 'del' while it turns on.
