If In = int tan^(n)x.dx for n>=0 show that In = 1/(n-1) x tan^(n-1)x - In-2 for n>=2

simple

heres a hint - dont use parts [i found it to be a bit longer]

and make In = tan^(n-2)x . tan^2x

u can work it out from there

oops i meant In = integral [tan^(n-2)x . tan^(2)x dx]

if u want i can write it up and scan the solution, but i think that clue is a dead giveaway

How did you approach integration Keypad?

Did you use one particular book? Or just heaps of trial papers.

imo get a solid foundation of intergration and then dont practice direct intergration do volumes / mechanics or whatever with intergrations in it...kill 2 birds with one stone hehe
