this is what i had for mine last year:
. The first metal to be extracted was copper, in around 6000 BC. It was later discovered that heating copper and tin ores with charcoal produced bronze. From about 2000 BC to 1000 BC, bronze was the major material used for weapons and tools. This was called the ‘Bronze Age’. In 1200 BC, humans developed a method of obtaining iron by blowing air into fires to raise the temperature. Iron then replaced bronze as the main material used, and became the ‘Iron Age’. In some ways, the Iron Age never ended. There was no dramatic change from the Iron Age to the Modern Age. Only until the 20th Century did other metals replace iron for its uses.
