the question is asking in which of the following relationships would an increase in the first part likely to cause an increase in the second part too. or alternatively, decrease in one would cause a decrease in another.

answer would be a) because increase in population would most likely lead to an increase in schools too. b) has a negative correlation because increases in prices would lead to a decrease in amt of sales. likewise for c). in d) there's not correlation/relationship at all
