Hi guys!!

Above are some questions but I don't really understand how to get to the answer.
Please help with the method.

Even after looking at the data sheet I dunno how to do this cause apparently you have to add electrons or something and where the heck do they even come from??

thanks :)

For the first one, look at the oxidation states of each ion and check if anything is oxidised or reduced. By looking at chlorine, it undergoes oxidation:

The rest of the reactants and products end up in the same oxidation states. In the end, you will need to balance the equation to get the same amount of atoms and electrons.

Generally, writing out all of the reduction and oxidation reactions will give you an indication of whether you need electrons in the reactions or if electrons are released.

The answers for the reactions seem fine to me.
