Well I have an assessment coming up on the following points:

1. "Design investigations that allow valid and reliable data and information to be collected"

2. "Predict possible issues that may arise during the course of an investigation and identify strategies to address these issues if necessary"

3. "Carry out risk assessment of intended experimental procedures and identifying and addressing potential hazards"

4.Identify and apply appropriate mathematical formulae and concepts"

5.Using symbols and formulae to express relationships and using appropriate units for physical quantities"

Although the assessment is called a Practical Assessment, it's not one per se as it's a written test on a practical done in class.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be about gravimetric analysis of percentage mass of salt in a mixture of sand & salt.

Can someone please kindly give me some pointers about the gravimetric analysis of percentage mass of salt in a mixture of sand & salt in relation to the points I typed above. Especially about Reliability and Validity.

Thank You in advance. :)

The only potential hazard I can see with the gravimetric analysis of a sand/salt mixture is getting it in your eyes, wear safety goggles to protect them. ;)

Lol, Thanks for the laugh and thanks for the input.

P.S I'm not being sarcastic, I do appreciate the help. :)
