Hey,

Can someone give me some help answering the following key feature on Russia?

The changing role of the Bolshevik party and changing applications of its ideology

First revolutionary, peasant reforms, anti-tsarist, socialist, left.
First revolution gets rid of tsar etc. establishes prov. gov.
Bolshevik party has no excuse for revolution, russia about to be democracy etc. They change ideology an becae greedy, like the capitalists they portrayed, and wanted power for themselves, which wasnt necassary. Easily took power, 'transfer of tyranny' is good term.

u could also argue that none of them were marxists but instead used marxism to promote idealogy in theory but in practice did what was necessary to survive
