Half of your Chemistry probably won't count, and neither will the whole of maths. Or Chemistry might fully count and Religion will not. Hard to say.

I'd say in the mid to high 50's.

60's if you improve a LOT in the HSC exam.

Josh, it would be more helpful if you used Assessment Marks rather than Trial results (for one particular set of exams).

For example: with 36% in Chemistry for your Trial (out of 100), this does not equate to an Assessment Mark of 36.

So you can see why it is hard to calculate any UAIs

You've fulfilled the other criteria though,

* School
* Rank
* Number in group
* Marks to an extent :)

Final assessment marks would be great, thanks.

(If you want me to use those numbers given, then I would say in the 50-60s, taking out Studies of Religion I).

The ranks for assesment and grades for assessment are

Religion: 66/127 C
Advanced English: 60/75 B
Business: 23/56 C
Chem: 17/20 C
Maths: 42/48 E
PDHPE: 12/28 C
snr Science: 2/14 B

Sorry, but I was trying to get Assessment Marks off you.

They are percentages (out of 100).

E.g. Advanced English 90%
Chem 80%,

I've never seen "grades" before (except behavioural and outcomes based "grading" -A's, B's, Good/Excellent/Satisfactory etc).

Assessment Marks... this is your final internal assessment mark.

Task 1 - 10% - Written Exam
Task 2 - 20% - Hand up (report)
Task 3 - 20% - Oral/Speaking Task
Trial HSC - 40%

============================
Total out of 100

etc... :)

When I receive my assessments back (hand in's, trial marks/exams/scripts), I take the marks and convert them to their reported weightings (according to your school, it varies)

Then I keep a record throughout the year so I know what my projected marks will be, how many marks I have lost throughout the year, and before I get my Year 12 Report, I know what my marks will be weeks in advance. :)

The school should tell you the weighting of each assessment (10%, 15%, 20%, etc)

And the number of tasks that you will have to hand up for the year (giving you some sort of "Assessment Calendar" so you know when something is due, and how much it is weighted).

With that, you can keep track of your own progress.

:)

How the hell do you know that!

LOL... I was thinking about that a while ago.

I must be getting predictable... :rolleyes:

But yeah, I am going to answer a few more posts and I'm going to study (I have done zip all morning!).
