For what values of m does the line y=m(x+1) have no intersection with the parabola y=2x^2

y=mx+m. Equate with y=2x^2. You get 2x^2-mx-m=0. Find discriminant. For no solution (thus, no intersection), discriminant is negative. Then solve the inequality for m.
