i feel really stupid but can someone tell me how SAM actually works
what do have to do?

If you knew it, then you'd be time travelling.

Best you can do is make an estimate. Read those threads posted up to have a good idea on what type of amrks you need to enter. Because you simply do not enter the marks you receive at school.

Correct. However at this stage in the year it is quite hard to do so.
