also look at the internet www.dogpile.com searches all search engines, might give you some basic info to go look at

also www.amazon.com is good (haha my teacher for society and culture suggested it as a reference filler)

umm thats all i can think of atm, ill keep an eye out and suggest anything more that might be helpful

I wouldn't use either of those resources .. sry don't mean to diss you shelly, but if u dont wana spend too much money buying books from amazon etc, and we all know how volatile search engines are (u just sit there for hours and no results in many cases) -- i would suggest going to the section relevant to your topic at Fisher library (the arts lib) in Sydney univeristy - that's where I spent an entire week (i mean like 6 or 7 hrs for 7 days) in the holidays for my project. that's all it took for research. the u just gota colate and type up. viola!

I find Amazon useful, especially since it has the reader reviews- I got a pretty good lead for my assignment from a review of one of the texts I was using.

i wouldnt BUY the books from amazon lol, but they give you and idea on which specifics to search for else where. Like if our typed in Rome on a university library website youd get about 47 pages, amazon can just be used as a way to see what kind of books are out their, possible primary sources to look for ect i SO wouldnt buy them! Just use them as leads!

in terms of sydney uni make sure you make use of special reserve and teh circulaum units, also if you ask i can get you acces into the electronic readings and journals!
