I want to do my preferences for uni, but the pin that i recieved isnt working. Isnt the pin you put in on the student online link for eBOS website the same as the pin you use for applying for uni? If not i may be worrying for no reason, but because its not working, i dont want to apply just incase i get charged for no reason. Anyone have any idea?

OK, breathe. Now this is what happens - you put in your BOS student no.(not pin) and your UAC pin no. then you click all the box thingos for your details until you get credit card no. entry - at this point they will form an electronic receipt through PDF for you. You *also* in this process should have recieved your UAC application no.(not your pin) which should be the same as your BOS no. but with a 1 in front. Now UAC will remember what you have and haven't paid when you put in this no. as it is like an account. So you can reaccess your account with your UAC no.(not BOS no.) and your UAC pin and your payment will be remembered. If it isn't remembered then you have your receipt as back up.

on the eBOS website i put in my application number and then my pin like it says, ve had no problem with it before, but when i put it in this morning it didnt work and now my account has been locked until 10:57 - im thinking if that happened on the eBOS website, how on earth am is it going to work on the apply by telephone?

You should have 2 different pin numbers, the one for UAC is not the same as the one for students online.

U would have recieved your students online pin quite a while ago, the UAC pin was a little more recent...

I think ur worrying for no reason...lol

This is to clarify what happens which I stated in my earlier post, these are the numbers you get(all separate!):
1. BOS number
2. BOS pin code
3. UAC pin code
4. UAC number(which you get once you have started the application process - in addition it is the same as your BOS number *except* it has a 1 in front.)
So if your Students Online thing is playing up, it *won't* affect you putting in your preferences. eBOS is *completely* separate from UAC.

yeah physician, i noticed that after I found the paper. hehe. just done my preferences - thanx for the help anyway kami. LAtely ive been freaking out and everything is under my nose. Once at school i thought i lost my camera but it was in my bag the whole time - my mind is always in two places - anyways im off.
