what is the importance of understanding newtons second law of motion ,and has this law led to developments in technology? please help !!

lol, thus far in the physics HSC syllabus, nothing in the prelim has been of an effect.

But to be honest, I believe that the 'developments in technology' bit is a bit beyond Prelim Physics.

One example is the rope and pulley system. Newton's second law applies because the resultant force causes objects move due to the system.

it is very important to have an understanding of newtons second law. Newtons 2nd law - the net force on an objext is equal to the mass of an object multiplied by its acceleration, i.e. mathematically: F=ma. It allows us to calculate many equations that allow us to better understand motion not only on, but surrounding celestial objects. By better understanding motion it has allowed for development in technology
