i know this has been posted heaps of times but i dnt really have the time to look through them all.. im wondering if anyone has good info on imaginative journeys?

ive got an essay to write for monday.. today being the friday b4.. and i have to use my core text, 'the tempest', a text from the stimulus booklet, 'the wizard of oz' and another different text i havent chosen yet.. relate them all together.. im in tears and im pulling my hair out

can anyone suggest a good text? and can someone tell me what an imaginative journey is? hehe i still have no clue

"The journey challenges the traveller in many different ways". How do composers use texts to explore aspects of imaginative journeys?

^essay question

any help would be muchly appreciated :)
thats wat u get for goin to a stupid school like moorefield.... :apig:

a good text to do would be "The hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien..why? because the story is set in the Middle Earth and all the happenings and the organisms dont exist on our planet.. therefore we imagine it, we take an imaginative journey into the world of Middle Earth and the adventure of Bilbo Baggins.

From the syllabus booklet i got, it says that imaginatives journeys
"take us into worlds of imagination, speculation and inspiration. Students explore a range of imaginative journeys, from journeys of intellectual discovery to those of pure imagination."
