ok.. i went thru the paper and estimate i got around 60%.. roughly 72/120

wats ur prediction of my scaled mark ?


i know in 2003, it went from 55% to 79.. but would it vary much this year

Hey does it matter if some crazy kid killed da exam and got 120(this is a bit hypothetical) for scaling. Like i mean would such a person stuff us up, or would we stll get scaled the same.

well noone got full marks last year ... and it wouldnt impact too much.. becos not a great deal of people get 115+ /120

I just looked at the answers posted by a member...I think I got 90/120...im So happy...seriously. In the past papers I usually got about 81/120.

I couldnt remember all my answers so maybe I will lose some marks...even 85/120...happy

I hope I can get a band 5.

with those marks i would say mid band 5. i think i am around the same area so iam hoping it scales to bout 83-85

Based on the solutions, i got 93/120, which is 78%, im pretty happy with that, considering the large amount of work i did.
what does everyone think that will get scaled up to?

for people who do 2u maths ur pretty stupid. estimating uais is ridiculous, its like trying to predict where lightening is going to strike. get over the hsc already no one in the world is going to care what u get in ur hsc, there is a big wide world out there and the hsc is so overrated u think if u do good in this u will be set for life? friend got 92 uai and fail her first year of uni.

see, the only flaw in your statements are derived form the fact that students try to their upmost ability to pursue their future careers and the HSC definitely wields a great impact. Not everybody is like ur friend.

i only calculated my mark just then...

assuming that questions i tried but didn't get the final answer for (like 10B) are worth 0 marks, my exam mark would be 108/120, exactly 90% ;;

of course, that's barring stupid mistakes, which i'm sure i would make some... -.-;;
