Hey.

I have bit of a dilemma going on here about my future, which is pretty much my studies i guess.
I'm nearing the end of year 11 now. These are my subjects.

Maths 2U
English (Adv)
English (Ext 1)
Chemistry
Legal studies.
Modern History.
Catholic studies (minimum compulsory)

The thing is i don't really study hard. Tbh there are days at a time (that is multiple days in a row) where i don't do anything.
My last set of exams form term 1 were ok.. i got:

5th in 2U 57/70
1st legal 47/60
Equal 1st Eng Adv 93/100 (only remember percentage.. think it was like 33/35 or 32)
Equal 1st ext english 15/15
17th chem ( i deserved better) 35/55
10th Modern 40/55
and i don't care about CST so i haven't really checked..

Thing is i went into my exams that just finished (all but one) and i really don't think i went well. Probably even worse than last time and i'm sure i flunked math and adv English.. I'm usually alright at English and i'm getting a math tutor though...

So i'm just trying to get at is do you guys have any advise for a student of my set of skills? Is it possible for me to get 95+ if i put the effort (A lot of it) in from now?

i want to do 10 units next year and hopefully my subjects will be:

Math 2U
Chem
English (4 unit)
and legal.

do i need to kill it to get good marks with my subjects? There not really that impressive IMO.. I picked them because i think i have a shot at a band 6 for each.

I know ext is Eng is no where near as good as ext math but i want to wither be a dentist or lawyer and i don't really need it. I also heard doing 4 unit in math and getting e4 will boost your ATAR. Does that apply for Ext 2 English?

Please make my rant worthwhile =]. Would greatly appreciate your expertise.

(((MORE PARTICULARLY))) How do you write a lot in exams?? i sit there thinking..... people going through booklets at a time and that..

Just to get a gist of your background, why have you been lazy over the past year?

How many people are in each of your subjects and how has your school ranked in the HSC over the past few years?

Well yes if you put in work and do well in your subs, the obvious answer is yes you can definitely get a good ATAR after decent to good yr 11 results with no effort.

Just be 100% on your subs before committing to a 10 unit combo though. 4U Eng can be subjective.

Umm, i'm not sure really. Just haven't been motivated. I sort of cruised past this second term.. But i think i have potential to do better. When i do something i do it properly though. If i could study everyday the way i cram on the last week i'd be 99.95 IMO. But also dead.

English Advanced is 66 people.
Math 2U is around 30.
Chem is around 28
Legal is like 30 but to be honest their not the most gifted.
Modern is 25 or so but i'm dropping.
Ext was 20 when the exam was sat but is now 11. A lot of people failed.
