high-density RAM (1 Viewer)

Will high-density RAMs (DDR) work on my boards: Gigabyte GA-8ST800 (chipset: SiS 645DX) and Sapphire 9100IGP-MA39 (chipset ATI RS300+SB200).
I couldn't find a good info on google.

I found a page which says that it should work on m/b with SiS 645 chipset (but mine is 645DX...).

I also read that high-density RAMs are only for the newer computers. Is it true?
My Gigabyte is 3 yrs old, the Sapphire is 2 yrs old, since I bought them.
So I'm not sure...

What makes you think it's a no?

Does it list high density RAMs for your motherboard?

And actually, your right. Its doesnt mention high/low density. Check around that site though ... Im sure it explains it somewhere.
