i havent picked mine up since the hsc music performance exam sadly..... think i mite give it a go tonight....im joining wind orchestra next semester!!!

tuesday nites @ newy high - i dont, havnt hads a lesson for 3 yrs, coz when i got my braces i couldnt play properly, so i deemed it a waste of money to pay for lessons every week as i wasnt improving, due to my ombuchure (sp) changin all the time

haha i got used to it, i got braces on in year 10 and 11 and i played alright, i did my 6th and 7th grade exams during that time!

yeah i felt like that too but then i chose music as a subject in yr 11 & 12 so had to persist!

hahah but the hsc isnt a competition!!! u coulda just done music 1 instead of 2, which is easier and for ppl who arent as good

i played the clarinet with braces for around 2 years (i thinks thats how long i had them on)
but then switched back to piano for my hsc cause i liked it better

lol, u shoulda seen the music 1 ppl - and its not that im not good,m i just couldnt have been botherd to practice all the time, which i woulda needed to 2 for HSC music

ahh yeah there were some pretty good ppl in music 1 at my shcool too, they just were too lazy to do all the theory of music 2 lol

lol, i coulda done the theory pretty easily, that stuff is soo simple!

there were 5 people in my music class..... four rock guitarists and me a jazz pianist..... we breezed thru the theory stuff cause we were only a few ppls, then stuff around trying to make my pieces fit guitar riffs.... v. entertaining

hahaha well there were 4 people in our music 2 class and about 6 i think in the music one class....we absolutely HATED our teacher, he was the shittiest teacher ever and caused us to all go terribly in our hsc cos we missed an assessment so we had a chunk out of our assessment mark. very crappy
