Im in year 11, and i'm doing a historical investigation on Cleopatra, and we get to come up with our own question (hooray....!)
Anyway, I have come up with a question and it has been approved and 'locked in' i guess you could say (in that i can't choose another question now) and ive started to try and write my 1000 word essay but i'm just finding it incredibly hard.
The question is:
‘Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety.’- Act 2 Scene II, Antony & Cleopatra- William Shakespeare
What evidence is there to prove that in fact, Cleopatra was beautiful?
Theres plenty of evidence for and against (Plutarch, Cassius Dio, Coins, Shakespeare even) but im finding it hard to put this into 1000 words. Ive stated different historian's opinions, and my own opinion...what else is there to do besides waffle!
Any help would be appreciated
