Hey everyone
Well i've managed to get through extension this year.. but if someone said, what is historiography? i wouldn't have a clue what to say... can anyone put it in words for me please.. i'm not dumb.. just have a rotten teacher!

Well, the first definition from dictionary.com is

"The principles, theories, or methodology of scholarly historical research and presentation."

That summarises it pretty well - different ideas about how history should be constructed.

Different historiographical views debate
-whether the perspective of the historian will always influence the history,
-whether we can ever really know the truth about the past
-different ideas about the purpose of history.

Hmmm

From what my Great awesome wonderful amazing fantabulous Extention Teach (BTW he reads these) tells me, basically it's the study of the Historians rather than the study of history itself...hope i helped. ^_^
