Apparently Hitler Was In The German Army And Was Hospitalised...!
Can Sum1 Plz Tell Me When He Joined The Army And When He Left The Army...!




We Have To Bring Something New To The Class Something We Havent Discuss In The Classroom So I thought This Would Be Interesting!

Uh ok, i don't know exact dates or anything. All i can tell you is that he was an officer is that all? Well, i don't recall but he was NOT ranked very high, he ran messages between trenches which was a very dangerous job. Also, he was in hospital, i think it might have been a gas attack and he was blinded, correct me if i am wrong. He was in hospital when Germany surrended and he apparently started crying, but what you can conclude is that he was mighty upset. He was a volunteer for the army so he didn't really leave but as the war was over and he was a volunteer he had no need to be in it any more. hope it helped.

my modern text tells me that:
Hitler was a corporal.
he was awarded an iron cross, first class for bravery
and was blinded by a gas attack....he recovered his sight at the end of the war....oct 1918
he volunteered in 1914
