when im 18 and have a job i have to pay $50 board... but mum has already planned that she is going to put it in a separate bank account for my uni fees... so its NOT that bad... she will still buy the main groceries etc... but i might have to get the odd bits and pieces if she is like "jess can u duck down the street and get this for dinner tonight" - i had to buy self raising flour the other day but thats only $1

lol i know what u meant... its my way of justifying to myself that altho ur parents said they would help pay for uni its actually ur money anyway. hmph... i know a lot i could do with that $50 lol think - thats like 5hrs worth of work a week

omg i just thought of something which i dont have to buy... Blank CD's and DVD's - mainly cos they are all used on her but still... i buy them when i see them on special and she gives me the money back. only cos i know what brands to use and stuff so its easier. - she bought ones once - they were crap

she wouldn't even buy me anti virus for my laptop - she forced me to download AVG and install it

Nathan has good stuff tho... Laser printer, a3 colour, normal inkjet, broadband, laptop, desktop, network... am i missing anything lol

i used to have to pay for the internet cos we were only on 16hrs free... and i got addicted... but then we upgrade to unlimited dialup so i dont have to anymore

Hmmmm i didn't work until first year uni - until then i was gettin $10 a week pocket money - $6 in hand and $4 into the bank - sometimes i did babysitting and my granny gave me money to do some chores every now and then! i dont know how i managed to save enough money to go out all the time n such haha

Now i work 3-4 shifts a week and have enough money to pay for everything i need which is goood - but i have to pay my own uni fees - and my parents are talking of me having to pay board tooo! i mean its a lot to save alll the time to pay my fees, uni transport and other personal expenses and then if i have to pay board too ahhh welll!! life goes on!

i HAVE to work next year. mum's rule... i think its her way of trying to get me out of the house kinda and socialise.. i dont go anywhere... just online (thats a place )

im incredibly shy - i wont even ring optus to ask them to set my phone so that i can receive picture messages. i only applied for Target cos the first stage was online and i didnt have to ring anyone.
