It depends on what you're combining with law.

I'm doing computer science, and I only have enough time for one major.

But I have a friend doing commerce, and I think he has two majors (finance and accounting). So... it depends... :)

i heard u can do a double major for comm even when combined with law, at usyd. but u have to do extra lessons, like at summer school or something

no, at usyd double major means a single major to greater depth

Yeah seems like ill be doin it... I don't know where i'll fit it though - if i get into law, then it really stuffs up my program. Means i'd have to do catch-up law units plus honours preparation in 2nd year - yuck :(

Accounting more exciting??? you're starting to freak me out :p

lexie, you can do GOVT Hons 2 along with GOVT 3991. But that will be alot and I mean ALOT of reading.

im gonna look stupid here, but, with the honors, do u get some sort of academic result at the end? and can u actually "fail" an honours course?

Yup.

you get to put on your resume BA (Hons) or BEc (Hons) which looks snazzy and is extremely appealing to employers.

65 or below for your honours year = FAIL.
