So, how closely is having a good breakfast correlated with success in studies? Apparently having a good brekkie is very important.. This will make an interesting thread - what do you for brekkie and how are you going/have you went in your studies? (I actually have Vita Brits instead of Weet Bix...)

Breakfast... hmm, usually one of porridge, cereal, a crumpet with peanut butter, piece of toast or one of those Fruity Bix bars. The last three were invariably eaten in the car on the way to school, or during early morning Maths Ext classes.

I did pretty well in the HSC, but it probably would have helped if I'd eaten breakfast a) properly and b) not on the move... maybe I wouldn't have zonked out at around 9:30am every morning.

During the HSC, all my exams except for German were in the morning. If it was a 3 hr exam, I had 3 Weetbix for breakfast (so I didn't get hungry during the exam). If it was 2 hrs I had 2- 2 1/2, coz I could eat sooner.

I'm not at school, but i never have time for breaky. When i'm at uni, cause i have to leave so early, theres no point eating breakfast at like 5:30am. So i tend to just eat skittles during lectures. When i'm on holidays I always sleep when you usually have breakfast, and usually wake up instead for lunch.

I always forget to have breakfast as I am in a rush. I'd make an effort to have it if I found convincing proof that it was very beneficial and not just a wive's tale.

I've actually always eaten brekkie and I suppose now I've adapted to that. I can't get by on less than a glass of juice, Vita Brits with milk and one crumpet... and I'm often still hungry!!!!

If u dont have time for a full breakfast, get ur hands on "up and go" as a really YUMMY substitute lol

If u cant get that, then have at least a glass of juice and a peice of toast.

On exam days, dont have a totally full breakfast - coz ull be so nervous ur stomach may hurt. During the hsc i had a small bowl of cereal, or toast and juice. Then do the exam and come home and eat as much as u want for lunch . Another big tip, lol is go 2 the toilet BEFORE ur exam - u dont wanna waste HSC time coz u got the runs or wateva lol

The only reason I eat Weet Bix is because Brett Lee does too..mmm.

I however, don't eat Breakfast on school days. I never have time. I am though considering investing (or getting my mum to buy) those up and go things that you can drink.
