Hi,

I'm going to be doing a Bachelor of Science at UNE, and was wondering how many hours ( roughly ) I'd be looking at for actual uni class/lecture time ?

i think a science degree would be around 15-24 hours a week, depending on how many, and what sort of subjects you do...you might get stuck with a 3 hour lab for each subject but i doubt that

im doing B.Sc @ newcastle, and i have 19 contact hrs per week
have a look at your faculties webpage, you should be able to find all the available timeslots somewhere on une's site and add them up
its really not all that difficult

EDIT: ive just 'lost' 4 hrs a week off my course, its only 15 contact hrs/week for me

I was doing 27 hours a week at UNSW with my B Science degree.

Haha, and like melbournian, I now have a nice 12 hour week with my Policing degree

commerce/law at macq has 15 hours

For my BA Communications first semester I have 11 contact hours per week.

For my BA Comm/B Laws second semester I have 13.5 contact hours per week.

But the contact hours become heavier as the degree unfolds I assume.

com/law at unsw for me is 13.5 with like an extra 10 hours this semester

is there a course out there with more hours? or am i the luckiest?

i have a friend who is doing dance at uni and she has 30 something hours a week . more than half of that is prac though

I think I may have the least, I'm doing 9 hours this semester (only doing 3 subjects instead of 4 coz I can't be bothered doing general education until next summer)
