Crazy difference, my internals marks predicted a 98, my cohort (me included) flopped the hsc and I got a 95. This works both ways, predicted —> everyone does well —> better final atar —> everyone happy or predicted —> everyone does shit —> worse atar —> you get over it cause tbh no one cares a day later

hsc exam is actually worth like 80%, cause if u underperform, u also take a worse assessment mark as well especially if ur school cohort is low
