I didn't realise you could know too much about the syllabus. I believe that HSC students are suposed to know the WHOLE syllabus in depth. The questions asked were from the syllabus, as I previously stated, thus making them fair questions to ask. The structure of the exam was similar to that of previous years, as i stated - showing that it shouldn't have been a suprise to students. Students of high calibre know the whole syllabus - thus enabling them to answer all questions proficiently, this is what markers expect of band 6 students.
The point i was making was that the questions were fair, not that certain students mightn't have found them difficult. And if students did not know the content then they should be looking at the reason why? Was it because they failed to study that section? Did they just forget what they had learnt? Did they not learn that part of the syllabus? etc. If the last one is the case, then they should be looking at the fact that maybe their teacher failed to cover that part of the syllabus, and even discussing the matter with their teacher (asking why it wasn't covered and bringing it to their attention to ensure future classes are taught it), as well as why they themselves did not realise they had not covered part of the syllabus (because as students we have to take responsibility for our own learning as well, its not all the teacher's responsibility). They then should be looking at other subjects to ensure they covered the entire syllabus.
Seeing as you asked about my post count: I have a lot of posts (over 4000) as i have been around for a while (2 years) and i like to help out in various forums on boredofstudies, particularly those i moderate.
and thankyou for asking about uni, I am doing well thanks, and am doing my last exam for the semester tomorrow, it just happens to be PDHPE.
