You can't get half marks in terms of your actual HSC and assessment mark. Like, say your overall internal Bio mark winds up being 93.5, it'll get rounded up to 94 anyway, so a 17.5 is as good as an 18 anyway.

Congratulations, those are really good results.

My results are ok i guess, could have done better:

Maths 2u- 24/24 100% (doing it as a back up in case i drop 4U maths)
Maths 3u- 21/24 88% SHOULD BE SHOT!!
Maths 4u- 24/24 100%
Biology- 17.5/18 97% (damn pissy 1/2 mark!!)
Chemistry-not sure but rumour 55.5/60 93%
Physics- haven't done an assessment yet
English Adv- 60/60 100% (sooo happy!)
wow congratulations on those marks!

Seeing as everyone else posted their marks i'll do the same...

English Adv- 14/15- 93% (2nd)
English Ext- 18/20- 90% (2nd)
English Ext 2- haven't had anyhting as yet
Economics- 14.3/15 (that was after it was rounded)- 95% (2nd)
Maths 2U- 47/53- 88% (something like 18th)
Bio- 22/30- 73% (yes i majorly fucked up by my prac- i just ended up mixing some stuff together and making up my results)
Legal- 10/10- 100% (1st- well go figure...)

Maths 2 unit... I THINK IVE DONE THE WORST THAN ANY1 ON THIS SITE.... 17/35 48% ah im so crap arent i :'( :eek:
IPT- ??-we havent got back...get bak next term...

i was taking to my friend and who got a UAI of something like 99.6 or something and she said that she got all 70's in her first term assessments...so i'm still hopeful!

Hey joe_m_2000 thanks a lot!
You're results are really good and you should be proud :) But even if you end up getting a shoddy mark, it won't have a huge negative impact on your overall mark..simply because school's are aware that it's a difficult transition from yr 11-yr 12, hence all assessments aren't weighted heavily (the heaviest weighting I've had so far is 15%- for my english assessment and economics essay (got 18/20).

What are you doing for english? My assessment was a speech on Powerplay (Antony & Cleopatra) --UBER boring.

thanx adrenaline88, although your 4u maths mark in particular is quite shiny.

ive had a few 20% weightings, unfortunately. they are a pain in the arse.

well in response 2 ur question in english we just did area of study-physical journeys on skrzynecki-these are poems
and when we go back 2 school we do king lear for the "critical analysis of texts module"
after that we do brave new world/blade runner for comparisions or "in the wild" i think its called :confused:-havent read this yet!
(i just started reading Lear)
and our third module is telling the truth

english - haven't got back yet because the teachers were stupid enough to set us an assessment that would take them all summer hols to mark
ext english - as above
maths 2U -53/59
maths 3U - no idea but i'm pretty sure it was crappy, dropping it anyway
ancient - 19/25
music - 18/20
bio - didn't have one

i went awful
13/15 for english adv
25/30 for 2u maths (anyone know how to minimise stupid errors?)
18/24 for 3u maths
24/40 for 4u maths
11/22 for physics :(
i cant remember chem i think it was 24/34 or something like that

cmon man i told every1 my mark...and mine was heaps crap
but excellent work in everything else especially english 15/15! thats awesome man-as opposed with my crappy mark of 8/15 how crap
