Hi, so I saw that UNSW allows you to calculate your bonus points for courses, but Usyd has a different system. Could someone explain how it works in more detail? How and when do you find out the amount of points you're eligible for?

Also how does the EAS work in conjunction with the Flexible entry scheme?
Let's say you get an atar of 80, and want to get into a course that requires 90... if you're eligible for EAS and 5 max course bonus points, are you still offered a position?

Also are you at a disadvantage in the main round being someone with an 80 Atar + 10 bonus points, when competing with someone that has a 90 Atar straight up? Just checking.

Lots of questions, but I'd appreciate if someone could answer them. Thanks in advance!

I hear from my careers advisor that the maximum that Syd Uni. would give for EAS points is generally 4-5 points.

I'm not sure, they do indeed have a very vague pointing system.

Just check with others to see what they have to say.

Iirc USYD doesn't disclose information about how many bonus points are awarded.

AKA the broadway scheme usually allows a max of 5 ATAR points. However, this would depend on the demand of the course, etc.

e.g. http://puu.sh/63RHB.png on their website.
