I wouldn't overdo the exercise though. It can make you really tired and have painful muscles while recovering from a vigorous workout session.

I think some lightweight dumbells and regular jogging is sufficient enough to keep fit and more awake during the HSC.

Leave the vigorous muscle training until the holidays :p

well i devised a plan and it worked for me

as soon as i get home i go to sleep 6/7hrs

-------> wake up around 10/11

study till 7 oclock get ready then go to school

this give me around 8 hrs of study time

The advantages are:

- its night time so u can concentrate better (u can also watch sbs in peace!!!!)
- youve just had ur sleep so ur awake(might take 2 days to adjust)
- no-one will disturb u (which leads to more efficient work)
- when u arrive at school uve been awake for lk 8 hours so u will still be able to concentrate a bit (y waste time at school wen ur concentration is highest wen u wake up as u dont really learn anything do u)

The disadvantages are

- if u make too much noise ur parents will smash u
- dont look up porn cos if they walk in its all over and they will never let u stay up late again (ive been falsely accuse many times before)
- during exams ur gonna have to sleep normally cos exams/morning/concentration u know what i mean
- cant travel anywhere in avo (i dont go out very often)
- cant chat on msn unless ppl are online at 3am or so

but trust me it works and i beleive the advantages outweight the diadvantages badly (sounds like a science response dosent it?
- :D )

try it, but one thing is u must stay awake during that time otherwise ur brain will get fucked hard.

its ur hsc, u need peace and quiet and think about it as if u would study when u get home from school, uve wasted all ur energy playing soccer at lunchtime and what have u, so ur already bummed out when u get home.

Meh works for me

Btw at night cockroaches gang up on me on my bed (bad infestation) and like crawl over me. so at night i'm away from my bed :apig:

I do think that is a bit extreme, but whatever works for you and keeps you happy. :)

i can only concentrate at night when it is most peaceful. I just put on my mp3 player for like a few hours and then when it is like 11pm or 12am i sleep.

sounds pretty hectic 6hrs... but this is only for the last 3months leading up to the hsc...

i think diff ppl need diff amount of sleep... i noe ppl who can go for 1hr sleep b4 the exam and do perfectly fine... while others need at least 10 everynite... how much sleep u need depends on how u cope with not sleeping... lol

if all else fails... then go for coffee and v/redbull... they work... at least in the short term

bullshit. coffee is really bad when you're sleepy. all it does is wake your body up, gets your heart beating a million times per minute and gets you breathing really shallowly while in your brain you are still sleepy as fuck and can't concentrate. i know this from experience...the other day i needed to do an all-nighter with work, and i drank copious amounts of coffee. it was the worst experience ever...i ended up self-inducing vomiting to get all the coffee out of me so i could sleep for a while to get some concentration back.

eat a good lunch when your at school.
I think your underestimating the extent to which nutrition effects energy levels.
sleeping during the day and studying all night is possibly the stpudiest thing i've ever heard. Just eat better, sleep a little bit more and exercise ,, easy.

meh sleeping is bad
