How do I find a student ID? (1 Viewer)

Hi!
Sorry if this sounds very very very dodgy and suspicious, but how would I go about finding my friend's Student ID number?
Context: I am supposed to reserve a spot for them for a university event, and the registration requires a SID. Now, I would ask them BUT they're currently at work and they never leave their phone on while working (and I know, I'm stupid for not being more prepared beforehand).
Is there any way at all through something like Moodle?

Edit: The registration opens tonight and it will defs sell out. They finish work at around 11.

make one up. the validation of the student on the day will probably be their name as opposed to zID

I think the SID is used to verify membership status upon registration.

On a linux machine in the CSE building you can type in the following command "target -ln -a [name]" and it will give info about them depending on their privacy settings
