well,just received my UAI,95.1
i want to do a combined LAW/commerce at ANU, which the cutoff is 95 for 2004
:p sadly,i only pass the cutoff by o.1!damn it
but oh well i am under the EAS, i applied for 5points, things like parents divorce, domestic violence(physical abuse),youth allowance, medical issues(big operation in yr12 and in Australia less than 5 years.

so how do i look here? any chance of getting an offer?

I can't quite understand why you are concerned, Votes #1 for most pointless thread ever.

But will the cut-offs be changed? SAM under-predicted my mark by about 1...the exams were 'less-taxing' than previous yrs...maybe cut-offs will be raised?

I would say you have a very good chance, especially if you have been accepted under EAS.

however, if you are worried, you can apply directly to the law faculty. Look in you UAC book, in the ANU alternative entry section.

Cut offs will only rise if the demand for the seats at ANU rise.

I.e. The more people that want to go to a uni, the higher the UAI cut offs will be. That is why Sydney uai's are so high.

The cut offs are completely detached from the quality of the year, its average in exams and what not. It is based on demand.

And on demand I will venture an opinion that it will not go up. I could explain why, but it would take to long.

You are ABOVE last years cutoff.

You HAVE EAS.

WTF Are you worried about.

Again, I would like to point out how stupid this thread is.

Start worrying when the cutoff climbs to 100.1.

Until that day comes this thread is silly.

Did they just get in with no self-promotion on their part or did they write to admissions and beg or something else, please elaborate.
