welcome to boredofstudies nae...
i do standard but only common is consumerism, so i'll try and make that interesting...
think of it as real life...like as if bruce dawe is right in front of u, if u agree with wat he wrote in his poem, study why he did it and "admire" it...then, after a while, u will find it interesting
as for the whole topic....make an aim...say u wanna achieve such and such goal...try and do it

i find english interesting as a rule so i guess my input is irrelevant
if i'm finding something hard or boring i go off and look up certain parts of it that interest me.. and learn a lot about that. then the rest sometimes becomes easier or more easy to digest

I second that.
I hate english, you cant learn whats right or grasp a hard grip on what you are writing is right...
for example a student writing a page essay. Then receives the essay back, with ONLY a "fail".
You do not receive comments from your work as it is too long and might contain many mistakes to comprehend.
so without proper comment and marking the student can never learn from him/her mistakes.
where as in maths if you know concept you will know if your are right or wrong and learn from your mistakes..

and 'nae'.. me doin same modules as u...
and like 'natstar' stated.. "The Club" is GAY!!
and i think my lack of skills in eng is the cause of my crap mark in Trial (CSSA)... only got 45/105..
and any interesting ways of doin eng.... there is NONE!! english is EVIL!! its impossible..!!
