How do you appeal a question..or section in the the paper (1 Viewer)

It would be harder to get your complaint submited if all the questions were from the syllabus. But if you're in the situation in which the Legal Studies kiddies (including myself) are in, where they asked us something that was an OPTIONAL study barely evident in the syllabus and worth a considerable amount of marks, then you'll end up with alot of angry students who email the (stupid) Board of Studies, and their Government leaders. Oh well, Legal Studies is my last 2 Units anyway - can't be fucked caring about it anymore. Should never have done it.

prolly not. Most students aren't taught all of what's in the syllabus I think.

Sorry, but this is what the board will say more or less:

"If you know you had bad teachers, you could always look up the sylabus, read textbooks, get tutoring, ask a friend to teach you, and learn the course entirely on your own, you could even call the advice line for your questions."

And I tend to agree, I was very lucky that I didn't have a single incapable teacher for the subjects I did but having a bad teacher is not an excuse for not looking into the sylabus and seeing whats required.

Bad teachers = More independant time to yourself to learn your own work. I learnt nothing in my Legal Studies class! Everything I learnt was by myself at home or in the class! MUCH better than having to listen to your teacher have yet ANOTHER mood swing. But still, I fucking reget choosing that subject so I can only blame myself.

There is a way. You create a thread in "general discussion on the hsc" on how the paper "had questions not in the syllabus" or some other story you can make up. Since the media scans this forum like ritalin-addicated teens, you're story will make the front page of the daily telegraph in 30 mins.
