How do you figure out if you are capable of getting above 94 in MX2 and around 96 in MX1? Is it just talent or do the people who get that do the hardwork? Well personally I am a hardworker but I donot really get the marks I would like to get no matter how 'smart' or much I study. So therefore is there a technique or tips that you guys can share cos I need to get into my UNI course and would prefer a really high 99 so I dont get rejected from medicine or have to go to some university in the Middle of simpsons desert :_(.

those scores are most definitely achievable, as long as you put in the hard work. The higher scores (98+) are supposed to be reserved for people who are naturally gifted or some shit, but i believe anyone can get it. As to how you know where you stand, after you learn the course you can do hsc papers and match your raw marks up to the raw marks database. You'll need around 90% raw for a 96 in MX1 and around 78% raw for a 94 in MX2, according to the database, although it is probably harder now due to the new format.

Ok Thanks. Well its the hardest for you since the new format is mostly jumbled up and still in progress to becoming better. 2012 paper was very jumbled up. Well Good luck in your HSC. Hope you get your desired Math Mark Makematics.
