how do you know your computer can play region 1 dvds? (1 Viewer)

I want to buy a region 1 dvd but dont know if my computer can play it...

your dvd drive can change region too. just go to your dvd drive properties and go to dvd region and change it.

note: You only can change regions a certain amount of times..so thats not exactly a great idea...there are many ways to play DVD from anywhere

1.Get DVDshrink, extract files and burn to disk thats it...

just get anydvd, makes your computer play anything regardless of region.

don't change your region, you only get a limited amount, best to use the program
