hi friends,

how do you structure your 25 mark sor 1 essay? in regards to a general question like last years... I've always done just, person, practise, ethics, and I've received full marks in an assessment through doing this, however my sor teacher (she doesn't mark my assessments) has been bagging on about integrating all three ideas into each paragraph to be more integrated. this does seem like a better idea however in the heat of an exam I have no idea if I can pull it off nicely, so is it necessary to-do?

hey, i did my sor1 hsc last year and just scraped a band 6 but only lost 1 mark in my hsc exam. in the end, you really dont have to listen to your teacher because the marking centre prefers simple and strong over complex and messy! of course interweaving your discussion results in a very cohesive resonse but i think sticking to a measured and separated response like you've done for your assessment is a good idea. at least, that's what i did! just make sure you have a TON of specific examples and good thesis points you can mould to most potential questions.
